I've just been reading

1 "Mighty be our Powers" a memoir by Nobel Peace Prize winner, Leymah Gbowee - A different view of the Liberian war. Many insights on living through the conflict.
2 "Unbroken" the true story of Louis Zamperini by Laura Hillenbrand - For all of the WW2 books, this one comes from a different perspective. Quite fascinating.
3 "An Ordinary Man" an autobiography by Paul Resesabagina - Manager at Hotel Rwanda during massacre. Thoughtfully written and most readable account that I've come across
4 "Broken for You" by Stephanie Kallos - Loved the impact of human connection
5 "Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress" by Dai Sijie, semi-autobiographical novel, good reading, but wouldn't go on the favorites list
6 "Little Bee" by Chris Cleave - Readable, but not a recommend, cliche characters mixed with an odd intensity
