And I am Thankful

Last night my hip ached so badly
That it kept me awake.
Andy was restless and
Summit got up twice to be sick.
It was not a pleasant time.

This morning though,
Is a delightfully snowy day.
I have made the perfect latte,
The pups are sleeping peacefully
And I've stayed in my pajamas
Much too long (but quite happily).

And I am thankful.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
His mercies never come to an end;
They are new every morning;
Great is thy faithfulness."
